March 19 Lunch & Learn at Masonicare at Newtown to Discuss Hearing Loss - 2/16/2009

Newtown, CT, February 16, 2009....  A free Lunch and Learn Program for the community entitled, "Hear and Now: Hearing Loss, Hearing Aids, and How We Can Maximize Our Hearing Potential" will be held on Thursday, March 19, in the Lodge Room at Masonicare at Newtown (formerly Ashlar of Newtown). 

Hillary Lewis, MA, CCC-A, an audiologist with Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, will present the program.  A complimentary lunch will be served at 12 noon, and the program will begin at 12:15 p.m. 

Today's technology has made significant differences in the way hearing devices can compensate for hearing loss.  Ms. Lewis will explain what to expect with hearing loss, describe some of the newest, most sophisticated hearing aids available and how they can help, and provide advice to help people understand what might best meet their needs.
