Ashlar of Newtown to Sponsor Free Health & Wellness Program for the Community September 24 - 9/3/2008

Leaders of Danbury Hospital and St. Vincent's Medical Center to be Featured Speakers

Newtown, CT, September 2, 2008......In celebration of its 25 years of caring, Masonicare's Ashlar of Newtown is pleased to sponsor an exciting free program for the community on Wednesday, September 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cafetorium at Reed Intermediate School, 3 Trades Lane, Newtown. 

Entitled "The Vision of Two Leaders: Improving Health and Wellness for the Future," the program will feature Susan L. Davis, RN, EdD, President and CEO of St. Vincent's Medical Center and St. Vincent's Health Services, and John M. Murphy, M.D., Executive Vice President of Danbury Hospital. These leading healthcare professionals will share their thoughts and vision for the future of health and wellness and how we may improve our quality of life in coming years.  Following the presentation, program attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question and answer period.

All attendees are also invited to a pre-program reception at 6:00 p.m. to enjoy light refreshments and visit with healthcare professionals from Danbury Hospital, St. Vincent's Medical Center and Ashlar of Newtown who will provide valuable information about the healthcare services and programs they offer to the community.
