Heritage Quilters of Wallingford Presents Beautiful, Handmade Quilts to Masonic Healthcare Center Residents - 9/2/2008

Wallingford, CT, September 2, 2008.....The goal of the Heritage Quilters of Wallingford, a group established in 1985, is to preserve the tradition of quilting and to promote and pass on the knowledge of quilting through meetings and educational programs.  Its members are also very civic minded, making beautiful, one-of-a-kind quilts that they donate yearly to various organizations - especially those involving children or the elderly.

Recently, Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford was delighted to be the lucky recipient of 31 colorful, handmade quilts, created by members of Heritage Quilters especially for the Center's residents.   

A chapter of the Greater Hartford Quilt Guild, Heritage Quilters meets monthly in the auditorium at Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford and welcomes new members and guests.  For additional information and a meeting schedule, please call 203-269-2065.
