Young and Old Alike Enjoy Some Fun in the Sun at Masonic Healthcare Center - 7/17/2008

Wallingford, CT, July 16, 2008..........  On a hot summer day recently, the pre-school students from the Masonic Child Development Center in Wallingford joined several residents of Masonic Healthcare Center for some "water sports" in the Center's lovely courtyard.  The seniors were delighted to watch as the children romped through the cool spray from a sprinkler - some residents even joined in the fun to cool off a bit.  Masonic Healthcare Center's therapeutic recreation department and Child Development Center plan a variety of intergenerational activities on a regular basis.  The students always love spending time with their "grandmas and grandpas," and these frequent get-togethers are a real "day brightener" for the residents as well.
